Battle Royale, may be one of the most popular genres today in the world of video games, but not just any title can reach a privileged position among the most played, because for that, it must meet a lot of standards that will allow you to achieve full satisfaction to its users. Games like Warzone 2.0 lead this genre by virtue of the various innovations implemented so far, so titles like PUBG take reference from the best, to generate attractive proposals and maintain a considerable audience for the game to remain standing in a market of exponential improvements. This time, I wanted to share a bit of my experience, in one of my first games of the PC version.

Los Battle Royale, pueden ser uno de los géneros más populares hoy en día dentro del mundo de los videojuegos, pero no cualquier título puede llegar a ocupar una posición privilegiada entre los más jugados, pues para ello, debe cumplir una gran cantidad de estándares que le permitirán lograr una satisfacción plena hacia sus usuarios. Juegos como Warzone 2.0 llevan el liderazgo en este género en virtud de las diversas innovaciones implementadas hasta el momento, por lo que títulos como PUBG toman referencia de los mejores, para generar propuestas atractivas y mantener un público considerable para que el juego siga en pie en un mercado de mejoras exponenciales. Esta vez, quise compartir un poco de mi experiencia, en una de mis primeras partidas de la versión para PC.

Choosing the starting point in the game is always the most complicated thing, and even more taking into account conditions like mine, in which I do not know the map completely and where everything I do will be by chance. But as it is well known, for everything there is a beginning, so it is also valid, the fact of knowing how to lose, to later savor the sweetness of triumph.

Elegir el punto de inicio en la partida, siempre es lo más complicado, y más aún tomando en cuenta condiciones como las mías, en las que desconozco el mapa por completo y en donde todo lo que haga será por cuestiones de azar. Pero como bien es sabido, para todo hay un inicio, por lo que también es válido, el hecho de saber perder, para más adelante saborear las mieles del triunfo.

In the current game, I was fortunate to choose a solitary place with a considerable amount of weapons, enough to face any danger at the entrance.

En la partida en curso, tuve la fortuna de escoger un lugar solitario y con una cantidad considerable de armamento, suficiente como para enfrentar cualquier peligro de entrada.

The most difficult thing may be to leave the comfort of a shelter in search of better weapons and shields in other houses, but, as part of the game, this is almost an obligation to stay on your feet as long as possible, my idea would be to equip myself as quickly as possible to propose a safe route to reach the final stretch of the game alive, trying to go with excessive care to avoid any sniper or ambush from another player.

Lo más difícil, puede ser salir de la comodidad de un refugio en busca de mejor armamento y escudos en otras casas, pero, como parte del juego, esto es casi que una obligación para mantenerse en pie el mayor tiempo posible, mi idea, sería equiparme lo más rápido posible para plantear una ruta segura para llegar con vida al tramo final de la partida, tratando de ir con excesivo cuidado para evitar cualquier francotirador o alguna emboscada de otro jugador.

I still struggle a bit with the issue of choosing the best weapons in the process of equipping, the most familiar I found was an AK47 with little ammunition. I had two concerns at the time, one was that I wouldn't get killed, and the other that my processor wouldn't overheat, as on this occasion I omitted the use of MSI Afterburner to have a full view of the map and make a couple of gifs without visual obstructions.

Aún me cuesta un poco el tema de elegir las mejores armas en el proceso de equipamiento, lo más familiar que encontré fue una AK47 con pocas municiones. Tenía dos preocupaciones al momento, una era que no me mataran, y la otra que mi procesador no se calentara más de la cuenta, pues en esta ocasión omití el uso de MSI Afterburner para tener una vista plena del mapa y hacer un par de gif sin obstrucciones visuales.

When you think you are in the ideal place, and you say that "nothing can go wrong", games like PUBG remind you that you must practice a lot to at least try to be among the best in the game, and there I was, ambushing a player, while another had me more than sentenced to distance to end my time in the game.

Cuando crees estar en el lugar ideal, y dices que "nada puede salir mal", juegos como PUBG te recuerdan que debes practicar mucho para al menos intentar estar entre los mejores de la partida, y ahí estaba yo, emboscando a un jugador, mientras que otro me tenía más que sentenciado a distancia para acabar con mi tiempo en la partida.

My intention was at least, to be part of the top 10, but a good player knew how to take advantage of a better opportunity and took what I thought would be my casualty, and also took the life of my character. There are many things to learn, but that's what it's all about, to gain experience and later be a more impressive player, for the moment, it's more than just tasting the bitter taste of defeat.

Mi intención era al menos, ser parte de los 10 mejores, pero un buen jugador supo aprovechar una mejor oportunidad y se hizo con la que creí que sería mi baja, y además se hizo con la vida de mi personaje. Muchas cosas hay que aprender, pero de eso se trata, tomar experiencia y más adelante ser un jugador más imponente, de momento, queda más que probar el amargo sabor de la derrota.
