God directs everything for our good

I wondered why my sister died recently.
Many have questioned the divine purpose in allowing the tragedy in New York, September 11, 2001 What about earthquakes and sick children?

Most people wonder at some point why God allows the evil. Perhaps not as a philosophical question, but as a personal question.

The famous existentialist philosopher Alberto Camus developed a friendship with the pastor of the American Church in Paris, Howard Mumma, and the pastor rote a book about the fascinating dialogues they had. Once Camus He explained the reason for his disappointment with life.

"The silence of the universe has led me to the conclusion that the world Has no sense. This silence tacitly approves the evils of war, of poverty, and of the suffering of the innocent. I've been immersed in this suffering and poverty since the rise of fascism and nazism of Hitler So what do you do? For me, the only answer was to commit suicide, intellectual or physical, or embrace nihilism and continue to survive in a meaningless world. ... While I always trusted the universe and the humanity in the abstract, my experience made me begin to lose faith in its sense in practice. Something is horribly wrong. I am a disappointed and exhausted man. I've lost faith and hope since Hitler's success. Will it be surprising then that, at my age, I am
Looking for something to believe in? Losing life is a small thing. But lose the meaning of life, observe that reason disappears, is unbearable. It is impossible to live a meaningless life.”

It is easy to understand the disappointment that Hitler caused. However, we can take advantage of this situation to defend our faith. What could we say to Camus? There is something clear: we cannot tell him that God does not have enough power
to avoid evil.

But if we accept the fact that God is almighty, then why
what allows so much evil? Why does God not use His power to solve problems? How can we believe that God is omnipotent and good to it time?

This presents a dilemma for believers as well. When we have a
accident, or we get sick, we instinctively tend to ask, "Why does the Lord allowed this? Will it be a punishment? Have I done something to deserve this ”?

In this chapter, we will study Biblical evidence about the origin of evil and about what God does to win victory over evil. We will show that God guides everything for our good, a biblical doctrine that is the best remedy for discouragement and disappointment.
