All of us who have lived searching for the truth have found ourselves in the way, with many ideas that seduced us and inhabited us with the enough strength to condition our belief system.

However, after a while, many of the truths ended up being discarded because they did not support our internal questions, or because a "new truth", incompatible with those, competed in us through the same spaces, or simply, because these truths ceased to be.

In any case, those concepts that we had as references they were no longer such and we were suddenly adrift. Owners of the helm of our ship and aware of our possibilities, but unable of charting a reliable course.

As I write this, I suddenly remember The Little Prince by Antoine de SaintExupery

"On his travels through the small planets of his galaxy he encountered a geographer who noted, in a large record pound: mountains, rivers, and stars.

The Little Prince wanted to register his flower (the one he had left on his planet), but the geographer said to him:

-We do not register flowers, because it cannot be taken as a reference to things ephemeral

-And the geographer explained to the Little Prince that ephemeral means threatened by prompt disappearance.

-When the little prince heard this, he was very sad. Had noticed
that his rose was ephemeral

And then I ask myself, on the one hand: Will there be solid truths like
rocks and unflappable as landforms? Or is it the truth only
a concept that carries within itself the essence of the transitory and fragile nature of flowers?.

And on the other hand, from a macrocosmic perspective:

Is it that the mountains, the rivers and the stars are not also

  • threatened with prompt disappearance ?.

  • How much is "soon" compared to "always"?

  • Are not, from this look, the mountains also ephemeral?

I think what I would like today is to try to write about some mountain ideas, river ideas, star ideas that I came across on my way.

Some truths that are surely questionable for others and will be
also for me, someday, but which contain today, it seems to me, the solidity and reliability that gives the indisputable look of common sense.

The first of these reliable thoughts is an inseparable part of the zphilosophy and is the idea of knowing that

What is is.
