Habitat : Wooded clearings and edges, orchards, gardens, farms, lawns, especially those with conifers.
Seasons : Spring, summer, fall in Canada and over most of U.S.; all year throughout much of Deep South; fall, winter, spring along Gulf of Mexico and all Florida.
Range : Breeds from Canada to Gulf of Mexico, but not Texas, Florida or s.e. Georgia; winters in Deep South and along coast north to s. New Jersey, rarely to Long Island.
