Habitat : Summer - coniferous forest; migration/winter - mixed and deciduous woods; shrubbery. Seasons : Spring, summer, fall in North; fall, winter, spring over most of South. Range : Breeds from Canada south to n. portions of New England, New York, Michigan and Minnesota; winters from c. U.S. to Florida and Gulf of Mexico, north to Long Island, rarely inland to Lake Erie.
