What is steemit.com?

Steemit has redefined social media by building a living, breathing, and growing social economy - a community where users are rewarded for sharing their voice. It's a new kind of attention economy.

This is the concept of Steemit from the FAQ of the interface. Basically, it's like Facebook, but you get money (a cryptocurrency called STEEM and SBD, STEEM DOLLAR) for the content you publish. In Steemit.com, as well as other interfaces, such as Busy.org, eSteem.app, Partiko (for your cell phone), etc (Don't worry, later on. I'll give you a link where you can look for the interface you like so you can publish your content), you can earn crypto by writing content (posting pictures, drawing, memes, among others).

The difference is that here every vote your followers give you is what makes you earn money on your publication. Maybe when you start, you'll see posts with $1000 ratings! Don't get too excited! You have to learn that not just by writing two things you will become millionaires. You have to earn a reputation, attract the audience with good content and also share comments with everyone.

The work is not easy, maybe a long way, but it is rewarding (not just for the money) and besides, you can know a lot of people, very good people, from everywhere.

You'll see that not only can you win with written content, there is also D.Tube with which you can win by publishing videos or DSound you can post voices, music, sounds.

And if you don't like to write or post content, but you love games... Then you find in this network a couple of interesting games: Steemmonsters and Drugwars. They are also developing gambling games, similar to the machines of casinos, called SteemBet.

Besides that, you have many communities inside Steemit: cooking, music, cinemas, drawing, discussion, etc. And if you don't find any community interesting, I invite you to create the one you like.

Steem's world is just beginning to develop.
