[ESP-ENG] Autorretrato Steampunk - Steampunk Self-portrait (Digital)
隆Hola, Hivers!
Hi, Hivers!
Today I bring you a self portrait with a touch of the steampunk style, this drawing was done a while ago, I will guide you in the process of creation, but before that, I will explain a little about the steampunk concept, a movement that really interested me!
The Steampunk is a mix between the victorian aesthetic and the punk-rock attitude. It started as a sub-genre of science fiction, but little by little it has gain it鈥檚 place as an artistic and social movement. The creations and technologies used in steampunk are steam-based, what ends up becoming an uchronia of the Industrial Revolution, giving it an retro-futuristic interpretation of all the creactions of this time period.
Now that I gave you that small explication of the meaning of the term Steampunk, I will procede to show you my drawing and tell you a little of how it was made:
隆Los espero con ansias!

First I did the sketch in a white paper with and HB pencil, I prefer to have a darker linework to work with, then I scanned the finished sketch, and I used Paint Tool SAI to do the digital lineart.
I decided to give it a little color, using SAI again, normally I use a more traditional style, but sometimes I like to experiment with digital drawings a paintings. When i finished I had two differents results, one of them have a little more features that I feel represent me, a catchphrase that I feel resonate with me and the main focus is in the steampunk inspired glasses.
I hope you enjoyed this trip across my artwork, as always, any type of feedback, tips or questions are glady welcome, I wish to make some interactions over here, so say hi!
