Many of us have secrets which we have , some secrets are shocking while some sound normal , some secrets sound very weird , some secrets are not that bad , some secrets are dangerous , some secrets are left unrevealed because its revelation can even destroy a society.. there are also good secrets which could be business secrets that can add value to the person and the society, not all secrets are bad and not all are good..
Why do people keep secret ?
Different individuals have different reasons on why they keep secrets but I think many people commonly keep secrets because they feel embarrassed or feel so ashamed about something or an action or when they truly do feel they might actually get in trouble (which could be with the law or with any individual), and or they feel that their relationship with another individual might trult be negatively affected and destroyed if the big secret is said to be revealed.
Alot of people tend to keep secrets with their friends , their family members , their loved ones , people close to them generally , some people can even keep secrets with their neighbours depending on how close they are to the person..
Keeping secrets does not mean your secrets are safe , let me repeat it again , keeping secrets do not guarantee you that your secrets are safe
What determines if your secrets are safe depends on the person you shared the secrets with or the people you shared it with and also how confidential the secret was..infact the best way to make sure your secrets are safe is that you should not share those secrets at all..
But if you still want to go ahead to share your secrets with others then you need to ensure that you share the secrets or secret with the right person or right people , share it with those that you can trust , avoid sharing your secrets to people who will be quick to reveal it when you guys have conflicts , ensure that you share your secrets to only those people who you are sure of keeping your secrets no matter what comes up in the future , but we cannot predict humans all the time so someone you trust today may betray you tomorrow or might change towards you and they might reveal the secrets which could be out of anger or any other factors..
So since we know that humans cannot always be predictable then if you want to be certain your secrets are safe then the best thing to do to those secrets is NOT TO SHARE IT WITH ANYONE and if you are even going to still decide to share it , please be aware that it is not 100% certain your secrets will be safe forever so you need to prepare for the worse situation , but generally the kind of people you share your secrets with also determines how safe those secrets could be and how long the secrets will remain safe with you and them , that is why if we still want to share secrets , we should only share it with those that have proven their loyalty to us , those that we can trust alot..
