Takakura-tennō was born in 1161. Takakura became the Emperor of Japan in 1168.
Because Takakura's age was small, he ruled Japan with strong families. But this has caused frequent problems in Japan. During this period, the Japanese peasants were troubled. Because wealthy families usually make decisions based on their own interests. Takakura has not been able to interfere with these events.
Takakura was sick in 1180. And he resigned from the Imperial position because of Takakura's disease. Takakura passed away in 1181.
