In the following years, Ordu was conquered by the Kimmans. But then Ordu was conquered by many states. The army was conquered by Miletus, Persians and Alexander the Great.
In 280 BC, Ordu was conquered by the Pontus kingdom. And Ordu has been a city of Pontus kingdom until 63 years. In 63, Ordu was conquered by the Roman Empire. And until 1204 it was ruled by Ordu, the Roman empire and then the empire of Bians. Because of the iron mines in Ordu, Ordu has been an important city for every kingdom.
In 1204, the Greek Trabzon State conquered Ordu. But at this time the Turks began to settle in Ordu and its surroundings. The Greek Tranbzon State managed to prevent the conquest of Ordu by the Turks until 1461.
But after 1461, Ordu was completely conquered by the Turks. After a few Turkish principalities, Ordu was ruled by the Ottoman Empire. After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the Ordu was ruled by the Republic of Turkey. And Ordu has always been a valuable city for the Turks.
