Orcus, according to Roman mythology, is the god of death and the underground. Orcus lives in his underground palace. Orcus is very cruel to those who commit crimes in the world. Because of this, the Roman people were generally afraid of Orcus. But Orcus has behaved very well to good moral people in the world. Orcus characteristically resembles Hades in Greek mythology.
