Herakles is the son of Zeus according to Greek mythology. Herakles' mother is the Miken princess.
Hera, the wife of Zeus, heard the Heracles is Zeus's son. And Hera tried to kill Herakles. Hera first prevented Heracles from becoming the Mykēnai king. Then Hera made crazy the Heracles. And Herakles killed his wife and child.
Because of this murder, Heracles was given the penalty of being the servant of the Mykēnai king. And Mykēnai king gave Heracles 12 tasks. Herakles fulfilled these 12 missions.
Herakles also joined the Trojan war and killed Paris.
