Gil-Galad is an Elve who lived in Tolkien's middle earth. The real name of Gil-Galad is Erenion. Erenion fought against Melkor and Sauron throughout his life. Erenion lived in Lindon. In 510, Erenion became King of the Noldor. And Erenion made Lindon a very rich place. But Sauron has become so powerful because he has the ring of power. Therefore, People and Elves became allies and attacked Sauron. The war continued for 6 years. In this war, Erenion was killed by Sauron.
