Folcwine was born in the middle world of Tolkien in 2830 of the third age. Folcwine became King of Rohan in 2864. Folcwine strengthened and expanded the Rohan kingdom. Folcwine was able to conquer the western swamp. At this time, a large Haradrim army attacked Gondor. Thereupon, Folcwine sent Rohan's army to help Gondor. And thanks to Rohan, Gondor won the war. Folcwine passed away in 2903 of the third age.
