The twins who are semi-elf semi-human have chosen to be elves. The twin brothers hated Orcs for torturing their mother. And they killed the Orcs they found in their lives. Aragor is the half-brother of these twins. The twin brothers therefore fought alongside Aragorn during the ring wars. After the ring was destroyed, the twin brothers went to Rivendell and lived there.
