According to research,the Phrygians are the first known owners of the ancient city of Daskyleion . Many works by Phrygian people were found in the Daskyleion. Later, the city of Daskyleion was captured by the Lydian kingdom. In 550 BC the ancient city of Daskyleion was captured by the Persians. The city of Daskyleion lived the splendid period with in the Hellenistic period. During this period, many buildings were built in the city of Daskyleion. Many of the buildings in Daskyleion have unfortunately not survived and did not reach our times.
