Beregond is a Minas Tirith guard who lived in Tolkien's middle earth. It is not known when Beregond was born. During the ring wars, Beregond defended Minas Tirith. Beregond also tried to prevent Faramir from being burned by Denethor. Beregond had to kill another guard for this. And the punishment for this is death. But after becoming king, Aragorn forgave Beregond. Beregond wanted to get into the service of Faramir. And Beregond served Faramir until his death.
