Hey Actifitters,
For our first day, we went to Boyne Mountain resort. Like I probably already mentioned, I switched to snowboard in Michigan because for a kid growing up skiing in the Alps, slopes here are not really challenging. But yesterday with the very cold temperatures (single digit Fahrenheit, feels like around -20C), the snow was really hard packed and difficult to ride. I had a pretty hard fall on my head early in the day, luckily I was wearing a helmet. I could ride the rest of the day, but clearly I was a bit stunned and for sure not as relaxed as I should.
Anyways, it was a good day on the slopes under the sun for most of the day.
Let's see how sore we are for our second day.
