Hey Actifitters,
No big change yesterday. The forecast said it would be sunny but by the time we were getting out the door, it was mostly cloudy. So we made a quick stop behind the front yard.
Then we just headed to the forest as usual.
Kaia chased a few deer and critters, that's totally fine when she's a free dog and we're nowhere near a road or street.
She was on the lookout all the time.
But when we get closer to the edge of the forest, I usually call her back to heel position and she's not allowed to run away anymore. Well, she broke and went after more deer. Her punishment was a couple of long down/stays, she knows better!
I always thought these holes we can find in many of the trees were from woodpeckers, but I'm not so sure.
Kaia was free again and sensed something.
It was this big buck and a few smaller ones. Impressive antlers!
After chasing them and a little more climbing, Kaia was ready to walk back home.
I guess it's becoming a habit but once again, let's finish with Le Chat just relaxing. That photo's not from yesterday but that's pretty similar to how we found her.
