Another busy day again yesterday. It started normally though with a walk with Sam. We trained a little bit more his stays. He behaves surprisingly well!
I guess he knows his reward is the off-leash time that follows while we go up the forest trail to the fields.
Without the sunny weather, these fields look very different...
But for Sam, like I already mentioned, it's pure happiness! Look at that running sequence.
We completely changed the scenery in the afternoon, with a visit to my cousin near Lyon. We didn't have much time but we walked in the Croix-Rousse neighborhood. It's been many years since I went there, so it was pretty cool. It's a nice little neighborhood and some of the views are also great, like the one on Fourviere on the cover photo. It's where the silk weavers workshops used to be back in the days, 19th century I believe. Now it's plenty of little shops, bars and art galleries. We quickly went down part of the 'Montee de la Grande Cote' with all its steps.
And we found the 'Mur des Canuts' on the way back. It's a beautiful mural that gets updated from time to time.
It was short but nice and it's a good thing we walked a little bit because we had another raclette for dinner. So good! But not for the waistline...
