Hey Actifitters,
As mentioned in my previous post, my trip started yesterday and I had to go to the airport in the afternoon. So as usual before a trip, I was super late in preparing everything and didn't have time to sleep at all the previous night. I decided a long time ago that sleep is overrated anyways! We did take the time for a walk with Kaia though, that great weather was too tempting! But we stayed in the small forest behind the front yard.
Kaia likes this place and she was clearly after something, following her nose.
I quickly saw what it was, this deer wasn't even trying to hide.
She followed it for some time but had to give up when the deer went too far.
So we went for a short loop in the neighborhood.
That was a chance to say goodbye to some of the locals.
And enjoy the last fall colors. This angle on the small forest is a bit different but I like it.
After our walk, it was a big rush, but I finished everything just in time. Good thing I didn't sleep and we had one extra hour with the switch to winter time! When we left, Le Chat didn't seem like she cared much, or maybe she was just too sleepy!
That was very different for Kaia. I had nobody to take care of her this time, so on our way to the airport, we had to drop her off at the boarding place. She was shaking with anxiety when we left her. Poor Kaia! First time for her staying so long too. Hopefully I have better options next time.
Flights went fine and there will be more on the trip in my next reports.
