As most days, yesterday we were planning our long walk with Kaia in the afternoon/evening. But maybe 30 minutes, at most one hour before we were going to start, my boss called, with his own boss on the line as well. And that was a very long call! Where I was trying to create whatever model they needed, while they basically just watched my screen... Not a very efficient use of their time if you ask me. And the whole time, I was thinking: "Do you even realize I should be walking right now, and you're most likely causing me a loss in 
When we arrived in the forest, Kaia waited for my command to run into the darkness. For a dog that was almost not trained before I got her, and not a whole lot since, she actually does pretty well in obedience, unless of course there are major distractions like deer. But even for Genepi, that I trained a lot more since he was a puppy, deer were a huge challenge (and other dogs too, but there were extenuating circumstances for that).
I followed her along the trails. It was a very dark night, very nice.
Also very misty everywhere, probably because of the sub-freezing temps.
Nice temperature to walk actually. All the way to the playground and other trails.
Even if it was late, we went through our usual Cubiverse vaults hunting. Just very few vaults in my area, so I try not to skip the easy ones.
Another shorter loop in the forest next.
And finally, a longer than usual detour in the neighborhood, including some streets that we don't visit very often when we walk earlier.
And that was it. As expected, I couldn't make up for the lost time and missed the bar. But I am not out yet, I believe I can stay in the competition till at least the end of the month.
