Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday's activities started normally with a long walk with Kaia in the afternoon. We spent a little time behind the front yard first.
On our way to the bigger forest, the sky was nice and blue.
And the forest looked like it had the past few days, or weeks even. Bare trees and lots of dead leaves on the ground.
Kaia tried a little climbing, just for fun!
We had lots of time, so as often on week ends, we walked all over the forest trails, including the teepees.
Still lots of blue in the sky.
But suddenly, we started to see some kind of mist.
And what was that? Yes, snow!! Yay!!
We thought it was going to be just a few snowflakes, but minutes later Kaia looked snowy already!
And the scenery changed almost instantly!
We're still a couple days before the equinox, so it's not really surprising to see snow in Michigan. But I was really not prepared, just wearing a light jacket, and nothing waterproof. So we went back deeper in the forest to get a little shielding from the trees, even without their leaves.
We went back to the same places we were just earlier. What a difference a few minutes can make!
The storm disappeared just as fast as it appeared, and the sky cleared up very quickly.
To finish, we went back one last time into the forest to enjoy this little snow. As mentioned many times, both Kaia and I really love the snow!
Crazy Michigan weather, we're not kidding when we say you can have 4 distinct seasons within a week! Pretty sure this won't last even a day, but we'll take it. And hopefully we'll get more, even long after the Spring equinox.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
