Bienvenidos a una segunda parte de Hiveans en el HiveFest, donde les hablo sobre todas las personas que tue el placer de conocer durante este super evento. Hoy comenzamos con @neopch, mi hermanitoo, como le gusta a él decir. Un polaco que ha conocido el mundo en sus aventuras y que encontró el amor en Guatemala. Fue de las primeras personas que conocí y de las mejores. Ustedes lo conocerán por los stream que hacía en su canal de Youtube, que si no lo conoces de eso pues deberías ir y ver HiveFest desde una perspectiva diferente. Es una de las personas más alegres que he conocido en vida y ojalá en el futuro volvamos a coincidir. Solo quiero contar una anécdota de tantas y es que estando ambos en Ciudad de México, porque coincidimos en el mismo vuelo saliendo de Rosarito, yo tenía tanto sueño que él puso un paquete de frutos secos en mi bolsillo sin yo darme cuenta. En algún momento me dormí aprovechando que él no se había ido aun, porque en mi caso serian horas esperando mi próximo vuelo.
Welcome to the second part of Hiveans at the HiveFest, where I talk to you about all the people who I had the pleasure of meeting during this super event. Today we start with @neopch, my little brother, as he likes to say. A Pole who has known the world in his adventures and who found love in Guatemala. He was one of the first people I met and one of the best. You will know him for the stream he did on his YouTube channel, which if you don't know him from that, you should go and see HiveFest from a different perspective. He is one of the happiest people I have ever met in my life and I hope we will coincide again in the future. I just want to tell you one of many anecdotes and it is that while both of us were in Mexico City because we coincided on the same flight leaving Rosarito, I was so sleepy that he put a package of nuts in my pocket without me realizing it. At some point, I fell asleep taking advantage of the fact that he had not left yet because in my case it would be hours of waiting for my next flight.

@mynewlife es de las personas más talentosa que he visto con un cámara de video en la mano. Junto con @starkerz fue de las primeras personas que conocí cuando llegué de madrugada a Rosarito. Polaco al igual que Neo, pero con el sí tuve que adaptarme más para entender el inglés, eso me sirvió para poder entender varios acentos sin problemas durante el tiempo que estuve allá, pude adaptar mi oído. Rafa ha sido el videografo de cada Hive Fest o de casi todos, capturando los momentos de cada día en un único video que espero podamos ver pronto.
@mynewlife is one of the most talented people I've seen with a video camera in hand. Along with @starkerz, he was one of the first people I met when I arrived in the early hours of the morning in Rosarito. Polish like Neo, but with him I had to adapt more to understand English, which served me to be able to understand several accents without problems during the time I was there, I was able to adapt my ear. Rafa has been the videographer of each Hive Fest or almost all of them, capturing the moments of each day in a single video that I hope we can see soon.

Que podría decir de @starkerz que ya nadie sepa. Es la persona más alegre que he conocido, para todo tiene una sonrisa de oreja a oreja y como dije antes lo conocí apenas llegué del aeropuerto en Rosarito. Me recibio junto con Rafa y aunque ya eran las 2 de la madrugada, estuvimos charlando una hora más antes de dormir. Fue ahi cuando pude ver cómo sería todo al menos en la teoría y darme cuenta de que mi ingles si servía, recuerdo que me dijo que me doy a entender bien y que solo en los videos me pongo nervioso. Bueno, en los videos y en las conferencias, sino vayan a ver mi conferencia en YouTube. Debo decir que coincido con Matt en cual fue el mejor momento de todo el HiveFest aunque momentos buenos no faltaron, pero haber logrado que un negocio aceptara HBD fue una locura. El mérito grande es para Matt que ya había hecho un trabajo previo en varios negocios, yo solo me pase por allí cuando pude y les enseñe como usar @keychain en su versión Store. Locura lo que vino luego de eso.
What could I say about @starkerz that nobody knows already? He's the happiest person I've ever met, he always has a smile from ear to ear and, like I said before, I met him as soon as I got to the airport in Rosarito. He received me along with Rafa and even though it was already 2 in the morning, we talked for another hour before going to sleep. That's when I could see how everything would be at least in theory and realize that my English did work, I remember him telling me that I understand myself well and that I only get nervous in videos. Well, in videos and conferences, but go see my conference on YouTube. I must say that I agree with Matt about what was the best moment of the whole HiveFest even though there were good moments, but having managed to get a business to accept HBD was crazy. The big merit is for Matt who had already done some previous work in several businesses, I just went there when I could and showed them how to use @keychain in its Store version. Crazy what came after that.
@josepimpo fue toda una sorpresa y una buena. Ya había escuchado de el en Twitter por eventos como el TalentLand o BlockchainLand, que me daban ganas de hacer cosas así en Cuba. Pues allí estuvo este señor que tanto ha influenciado sobre las criptomonedas en México, pero mayor sorpresa aun cuando te diga que él está en Hive desde hace años. Le encanta poder tener una red social donde poder hablar lo que desee sin miedo a la censura. Tuve tiempo de conversar con el sobre el uso de las criptos en México e incluso del tiempo que él estuvo en el Salvador cuando toda la adopción de Bitcoin comenzaba por allá. Muy buenas historias que me compartió, solo no me pude llevar su libro, pero estoy seguro de que nos veremos otra vez.
@josepimpo was quite a surprise and a good one. I had already heard of him on Twitter for events like TalentLand or BlockchainLand, which made me want to do things like that in Cuba. Well, there was this gentleman who has influenced so much about cryptocurrencies in Mexico, but even more of a surprise when I tell you that he has been on Hive for years. He loves being able to have a social network where he can talk about whatever he wants without fear of censorship. I had time to talk to him about the use of cryptos in Mexico and even the time he spent in El Salvador when the adoption of Bitcoin was starting there. Very good stories that he shared with me, I just couldn't take his book with me, but I'm sure we'll see each other again.

Si no conoces a @anomadsoul entonces no sabes de @leofinance. Este señor es en gran medida una causa del éxito que está teniendo lo que ahora se llama InLeo en Hive, pero sobre todo fuera de Hive donde se están centrando en alcanzar cada vez a más personas. Puedo decir que soy tío de su hijo así que somos familia desde Rosarito jaja. La verdad que fue genial conocerlo después de tanto tiempo conversando por Discord y colaborando juntos. También nos ayudó cada vez que podía con la organización del evento y se encargó de la noche de Póker.
If you don't know @anomadsoul then you don't know @leofinance. This guy is a big reason for the success that is now called InLeo on Hive, but mostly outside of Hive where they are focused on reaching more and more people. I can say that I am his son's uncle so we are family from Rosarito haha. It was great to meet him after so long talking on Discord and collaborating. He also helped us every time he could with the organization of the event and took care of the Poker night.

Si conoces a @dbuzz, tienes que conocer a @chrisrice. Porque más allá de ser uno de los creadores de DBuzz, está haciendo un trabajo inmenso en las Filipinas para que Hive sea cada vez más conocido por allá, y vaya si lo está siendo, solo tienen que ver su conferencia. Fue incluso de las conferencias que más me gustaron por el hecho de añadir una opción de loguearse con Metamask en DBuzz de manera que no necesites tener de antemano una cuenta de Hive. Que las dapps se vuelvan multichain es algo que nos beneficiaria mucho. Pero lo mejor de todo es que tienen en mente liberar todo el código que lo hace posible para que cada parte del ecosistema pueda ser capaz de hacer lo mismo.
If you know @dbuzz, you have to know @chrisrice. Beyond being one of the creators of DBuzz, he is doing an immense job in the Philippines so that Hive is increasingly known there, and yes it is, you just have to see his conference. It was even one of the conferences I liked the most for adding a Metamask login option in DBuzz so that you don't need to have a Hive account beforehand. That the dapps become multichain is something that would benefit us a lot. Llegamos a @crimsonclad. Desde hace tiempo quería conocerla porque es de esas personas que te dan una conferencia de cualquier cosa y te quedas escuchándola el tiempo que sea. No tuvimos mucho tiempo para conversar, pero el poco que tuvimos se aprovechó, pude conocer de varios planes que están en proceso de hacerse realidad y que a todos nos van a gustar. No puedo comentar nada porque me hizo firmar un NDA, pero atentos a todo lo que estar super hivean hace. Y aprovecho para agradecerle nuevamente por el pin de Hive que ya muchos cubanos están disfrutando.
We arrived at @crimsonclad. I've wanted to meet her for a while because she's one of those people who gives you a lecture on anything and you stay listening to her for as long as it takes. We didn't have much time to talk, but the little time we had was used well, I learned about several plans that are in the process of becoming reality and that we will all like. I can't comment on anything because she made me sign an NDA, but stay tuned for everything that's going to be super hivean. And I take this opportunity to thank her again for the Hive pin that many Cubans are already enjoying.

Cierro con un amante de la cerveza como yo, @detlev. Testigo y gestor de la iniciativa #BeerSaturday que debes conocer ya si también eres un cervecero. Mas alla de eso, fue el hilo conductor de las conferencias por lo que se involucró muchísimo en el evento y fue una gran ayuda. Conversamos mucho y creo que creamos una buena amistad, aunque debe está molesto porque aún no he creado un post con mis cervezas cubana jajaja, no he tenido tiempo. Pero es una tremenda persona y me alegra haberlo conocido, ya sé que cuando vaya a a Alemania, a ver mi club de futbol favorito tengo que pasar a verlo a él también.

I close with a beer lover like me, @detlev. Witness and manager of the initiative #BeerSaturday that you should already know if you are also a beer lover. Beyond that, he was the conductor of the conferences so he got involved a lot in the event and was a great help. We talked a lot and I think we created a good friendship, even though he must be annoyed because I still haven't created a post with my Cuban beers yet, I haven't had time. But he's a great person and I'm glad I met him, I already know that when I go to Germany to see my favorite soccer team, I have to see him too.
