Hello again, dear Hivers, Today, I've broght you a Tom Hiddleston's portrait. I've made with nothing else than my pencil, my sharpener, my ereaser, and a blue color.
I began with his face, which gave me so much work, but I liked the result, so it was worth it.
Then, I had to continue with the hair. I've always consider that the hair is my weakness at the time of drawing. This one is not the worse nor the best I've done, but It is acceptable. I'm still learning by myself.
After the hair, I concentrated a little bit more on the beard and the lips. At the beggining the lips were too small, so I made them a little bit bigger and darkened the corners of the beard so It could look deeper.
Then, I made the jacket, the shirt, and the neck's shadows. It took me some time to do the jacket 'cause it was almost completely dark so, I had to rest my hand a little (I'm training my left hand to save the day in this sort of situations, hahaha)
When I came back from my resting, I looked at it was done, but then I heard my name several times. Someone was callimg me "Manu, Manu, don't forget us" the calling seemed to come from my bed, where my pencilcase was. "Don't forget us" I walked towards it and stared at it for a few seconds. Then, I took the blue color and applied it to Hiddleston's eyes so that they could be highlighted a little bit more. (Maybe, the effect is not very visible because of the poor quality of my camera)
