“Looking at the pond, all I could think was that it is an incredible thing, how a whole world can rise from what seems like nothing at all.”

Beyond the Pond

A pond is a small expanse of natural or artificially constructed water, usually used to raise fish, provide irrigation, or simply for ornamental purposes.

A few weeks ago, taking advantage of the good weather, I went to "Parque del Este" (East Park), a place located a short distance from my home, to relax a little while I walked along its paths.

Obviously, I could not miss the opportunity to take some pictures with my smartphone, particularly of the recently recovered pond with the neighboring buildings as a backdrop for that impromptu photo session.
