This afternoon while driving back home, I observed again this puddle of water in the cracks of the pavement of the street.

We are currently in the dry season of the year, which extends from late November or early December until May, the month in which the rains begin; so the presence of water in the road must correspond to some leak in the water pipes that supply the area.

Although I deeply regret that water is wasted in this way, I did not miss the opportunity to take some pictures of the reflection of the vegetation and nearby buildings.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Esta tarde mientras manejaba de regreso a casa, observé nuevamente este charco de agua en las grietas del pavimento de la calle.

Actualmente nos encontramos en la temporada seca del año, la cual se extiende desde finales de Noviembre o principios de Diciembre hasta Mayo, mes en el que se inician las lluvias; por lo que la presencia de agua en la vía debe corresponder a alguna fuga en las tuberías de agua potable que surten la zona.

Aunque lamento profundamente que el agua se desperdicie de esta manera, no desaproveché la ocasión para tomar algunas fotos del reflejo de la vegetación y de los edificios cercanos.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
