The past few days have been marked by heavy cloud cover and frequent rain and drizzle, due to the start of the rainy season in the region, ahead of the arrival of the hurricane season in the North Atlantic and the Caribbean, although fortunately Venezuela lies outside the usual path of these weather phenomena.

I took these two photos yesterday while walking near my home, taking advantage of the puddles on the city’s streets and avenues caused by the morning rain.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Estos últimos días, se han caracterizado por gran nubosidad y frecuentes lluvias y lloviznas, producto del inicio de la temporada de lluvias en la región, previo a la llegada de la temporada de huracanes en el Atlántico Norte y el Caribe, aunque afortunadamente Venezuela se encuentra fuera de la ruta usual de estos fenómenos meteorológicos.

Este par de fotos las tomé ayer mientras me encontraba caminando por las cercanías de mi hogar, aprovechando la presencia de charcos de agua en el pavimento de las calles y avenidas de la ciudad, como consecuencia de la lluvia en horas de la mañana.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
