Este es mi sobrino Chuck, un Schnauzer, raza canina originaria de Alemania, hijo "peludo" de mi hermana menor. Aunque Chuck cuenta ya con siete años humanos de edad, sigue siendo bastante inquieto y juguetón, por lo cual es difícil tomarle fotografías dado que rara vez permanece quieto, sin embargo pude aprovechar un viaje que realizara a Caracas con mi hermana y su esposo para capturarlo en esta imagen.
El nombre con el que se identifica a esta raza, proviene de la palabra alemana Schnauze que traducido al español significa "hocico", dada su característica barba que comienza en la parte superior de su hocico. En sus inicios, esta raza canina fue criada para perseguir y cazar, sin embargo, hoy en día se integran con gran facilidad a la vida familiar, llevándose muy bien con los niños y otros perros, siempre y cuando estén correctamente entrenados.
La imagen original a color, la modifiqué haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que presenta la aplicación PicsArt que poseo en mi teléfono inteligente, hasta lograr resaltar aquellas características que a mi juicio le agregan valor a la fotografía. En esta publicación en particular, empleé una superposición de filtros: en primer lugar, uno del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) con la finalidad de ampliar los tonos de la fotografía original, y posteriormente un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro.
This is my nephew Chuck, a Schnauzer, dog breed native to Germany, "hairy" son of my younger sister. Although Chuck already has seven years of human age, he is still quite restless and playful, so it is difficult to take pictures since he rarely remains still, however I was able to take a trip to Caracas with my sister and her husband to capture him in this picture.
The name with which this breed is identified, comes from the German word Schnauze which translated into Spanish means "snout", given its characteristic beard that begins at the top of its snout. In the beginning, this canine breed was bred to chase and hunt, however, today they integrate very easily into family life, getting along very well with children and other dogs, as long as they are properly trained.
The original color image, I modified it using the editing tools presented by the PicsArt application that I have on my smartphone, to highlight those features that in my opinion add value to the photograph. In this particular publication, I used a filter overlay: first, one of the type HDR (High Dynamic Range) in order to expand the tones of the original photograph, and then a simple Black & White filter.
