Very good morning dear readers, I hope you are having a great day, today I bring you a new drawing but this time in self portrait style, I have a long time without making a drawing about me as the main character and yesterday while I was sketching I got a little inspiration and I thought it was a good idea to make a drawing about me for a change, it is a drawing where I am sitting on some big steps which are very close to my house, here I will show you a little bit the process of this drawing which took me a little more than 5 hours to make so you can appreciate it a little bit:
Muy buen día queridos lectores, espero estén teniendo un gran día, hoy les traigo un nuevo dibujo pero en esta ocasión al estilo auto retrato, tengo mucho tiempo sin realizar un dibujo sobre mí como personaje principal y el día de ayer mientras bocetaba se me vino un poco la inspiración y me pareció buena idea realizar un dibujo sobre mí para variar un poco, se trata de un dibujo donde me encuentro sentado sobre unos grandes escalones los cuales se encuentran muy cerda de mi casa, aquí les mostrare un poco el proceso de este dibujo el cual me tomo poco mas de 5 horas realizar para que puedan apreciarlo un poco:
PROCESS / PROCESO
First of all I sketched everything according to the original idea I had of the stairs and of me at the foot of the steps, then I outlined everything with the pencil brush to give a solid structure to the drawing.
Primero que nada bocete todo según la idea original que tenia de las escaleras y de mi en el pie de los escalones, posteriormente delinee todo con el pincel de lápiz para darle una estructura solida al dibujo.
I proceeded with the application of the colors layer by layer, for the skin I wanted to use a medium tanned skin tone because it is the one that most resembles my own skin color, and then I made the details of the face little by little with a variation of skin tones.
Proseguí con la aplicación de los colores capa por capa, para la piel quise utilizar un tono de piel medio bronceado pues es el que más se me asemejo a mi propio color de piel, y luego realice los detalles del rostro poco a poco con variación de tonos de piel.
For the clothes I wanted to use my imagination a little bit, that's why I decided to create a kind of white long sleeve sweater and I decided to combine it with a pair of jogger style sport pants which I decided to paint in black with a tendency to gray color, and I thought it combined very well with the sweater.
Para la vestimenta si quise utilizar un poco mi imaginación, es por ello que decidí crearme una especie de suéter manga larga blanco y decidí combinarlo con un pantalón deportivo estilo Jogger el cual decidí pintarlo de color negro con tendencia al color gris, y me pareció que combinaba muy bien con el suéter.
As my hair is dark almost black, I decided to apply a base for the hair with a similar color, then with the thin brush that I always use to paint hair I added several thick strands in a slightly darker shade to make the shadows and the darkest parts of the hair, and then the light parts where it gives light I made them with an even thinner and thinner brush.
Como mi cabello es de color oscuro casi negro, decidí aplicar una base para el cabello con un color similar, luego con el pincel delgado que siempre utilizo para pintar cabello fui agregando varios mechones gruesos en una tonalidad un poco más oscura para hacer las sombras y las partes más oscuras del cabello, y luego las partes claras donde da la luz las realice con un pincel todavía más delgado y fino.
For the background from the beginning I wanted to do something related to the stairs that are near my house, which are a large row of steps that connect several blocks of the urbanization, so I thought they would look good for this portrait, I applied a medium sandy base color and then I was detailing little by little the steps and giving them the shape I wanted, then I made some small cracks to give more realism and finally I added a final layer of glitter to simulate a little sunlight falling on the steps.
Para el fondo desde un principio quise hacer algo relacionado con las escaleras que quedan cerca de mi casa, que son una gran hilera de escalones que conectan varias manzanas de la urbanización, así que me pareció que quedarían bien para este retrato, aplique una base de color medio arenoso y luego fui detallando poco a poco los escalones y dándoles la forma que deseaba, luego hice alguna pequeñas grietas para darle mas realismo y por ultimo agregue una última capa de brillos para simular un poco la luz del sol que cae sobre los escalones.
