Very good morning dear readers, be welcome once again to my art blog, today I bring the drawing of Sarli the Witch of the Mist, which is a very powerful witch who is capable of performing a variety of spells, and above all is able to manipulate anyone who has even a little evil in his heart. For this drawing I applied a new color palette that I've been wanting to try for a long time, and which I must say I liked very much and well in this post I'll show you a little bit of the process so you can see it:
Muy buenos días queridos lectores, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, el día de hoy traigo el dibujo de Sarli la bruja de la neblina, la cual es una bruja muy poderosa la cual es capaz de realizar una gran variedad de hechizos, y sobre todo es capaz de manipular a cualquier persona que tenga aunque sea un poco de maldad en su corazón. Para este dibujo aplique una nueva paleta de colores que llevaba tiempo queriendo probar, y la cual debo decir que me gusto mucho y bueno en este post les enseñare un poco el proceso para que puedan verlo:
First of all, I made some lines to give shape to my idea, it's the first time I make a sketch using this light blue color and I really liked it because it's easier after outlining everything in a better way.
Primero que nada hice algunas líneas para plasmar un poco mi idea, es la primera vez que hago un boceto utilizando este color azul claro y la verdad me gusto mucho pues es más fácil después delinear todo de una mejor manera.
I continued with the painting of Sarli, for the skin first apply a new shade as mentioned above, as it is a witch can not have a very common skin color, so use a shade very close to orange but maintaining the scent that it is still skin.
Proseguí con el pintado de Sarli, para la piel primero aplique una nueva tonalidad como mencione anteriormente, como se trata de una bruja no puede tener un color de piel muy común, por eso use un tono muy aproximado al naranja pero manteniendo la escancia de que se trata aun de piel.
I continued with the eyes and details of the face, for this I used a half red shade for the eyes, so that they look special and you can see that you can use them to manipulate people with dark and evil feelings, also I detailed the lips and gave them a little relief.
Seguí con los ojos y detalles del rostro, para esto utilice un tono medio rojizo para los ojos, de modo de que se vieran especiales y que se note que puede utilizarlos para manipular a las personas de sentimientos oscuros y malignos, además que detalle los labios y les di un poco de relieve.
Next was the hair, for this one I used a scarlet red base because I thought that this color would look great with the context of the character who is a wicked witch, then in a new layer I added some thick lines for the shadows and dark areas of the hair, and then I gave more volume to the hair by painting over the shadows with thin lines in light and bright tones.
Lo siguiente fue el cabello, para este utilice una base de color rojo escarlata pues me pareció que se vería muy bien este color con el contexto el personaje que es una bruja malvada, luego en una nueva capa añadí algunas líneas gruesas para las sombras y zonas oscuras del cabello, y posteriormente le di mas volumen al cabello pintando sobre las sombras con líneas delgadas en tonalidad clara y brillante.
The dress being a kind of cape or tunic because I decided to paint it all uniform and in one color, for this I used the color purple a little dark, I painted the base and then I gave volume to everything, I used a shade a little darker than the original to make some wrinkles or folds, and then I gave a little light color to the light areas of the cape.
La vestimenta al ser una especie de capa o túnica pues decidí pintarla toda uniforme y de un solo color, para esto emplee el color morado un poco oscuro, pinte la base y luego fui dándole volumen a todo, utilice una tonalidad un poco más oscura que la original para hacer algunas arruga o pliegues, y luego le di un poco de color claro a las zonas claras de la capa.
For the background I wanted to complement the drawing a little bit and that's why I made a kind of dark and cloudy background but in greenish tones to give the impression that it is in a very dark forest, and as a final detail for my drawing I decided to add some additional shadows and lights as always to try to highlight more the individual details of the face.
Para el fondo quise complementar un poco el dibujo y es por eso que hice una especie de fondo oscuro y nubloso pero en tonalidad verdosa para dar la impresión de que se encuentra en un bosque muy oscuro, y como detalle final para mi dibujo decidí agregar algunas sombras y luces adicionales como siempre para trata de resaltar mas los detalles individuales del rostro.

This was all because of this post my people, I had time without making drawings with themes like these of forests, witches, etc, but I think that soon I will continue with more drawings like these to take advantage a little of this color palette with different variations of styles. Esto fue todo por este post mi gente, tenía tiempo sin realizar dibujos con temáticas como estas de bosques, brujas, etc, pero creo que pronto seguiré con mas dibujos como estos para aprovechar un poco esta paleta de colores con distintas variaciones de estilos.
