The likely reasons why revolutionary ideas and technologies were said to have been suppressed in certain societies in the past could be thesame reasons why they are/were ignored on certain crypto networks. The main reason I believe is conflict of personal interest. They think such ideas could prevent them from being rich or weaken their influences/powers even though they are revolutionary, implementable and would absolutely change things for good.
