As for bases, I have a seriously large library of photo refs/ textures that I rely on each time Im doing such kind of gigs. Its really a time saver instead of looking all the time for new ones. For anatomy, Im rarely using real models nowdays as I tend to pose them in some 3D tool and then import them in photoshop for overpaint! What particular bases are you looking for?
