This is the first time this has happened since he was born, almost 12 years ago.
He has come onto the bed during the night to sleep for short spurts, That has been few and far between.
When he does come on the bed he has a specific MO, He walks behind or over my head to get to the far side. His long fur will tickle my balding head to tell me he has arrived.
Last night he came into bed an hour after I went to sleep. He then stayed the rest of the night, even after I got up in the morning, It was a good 6 hours straight. That was the first time that has happened.
His independent armor has gotten a crack in it after all these year.
