Came across this nice Pitch pine tree specimen on my walk at the old Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant, Calverton NY. The Plant was run BY Grumman Aircraft so was known locally as Grumman's.
By growing with space around it this pine was able to develop nice and full.
