Greetings, friends!

There was more shot during my village raid yesterday of which I told you about in my post Irrigation is Tech. Yes, watering at least some of the plants across the garden was the main mission objective. However, lots of other things were to be noticed around and I thought they were worth showing since...

Some of them are part of a lifestyle that is slowly but surely going into the past and was more popular a few decades ago...which was literally last century, of course...

Like this boiler...all right, rather a cauldron for preparation of canned foods.

And some are the sign of the casual everyday creativity. Like the original DeepSpace-adequate Scarecrow design...

About_The_Scarecrow_001_s.jpg

An apple tree had its branches lowered by the heavy fruit and touching the ground. I was instructed to lift them off the dirt by applying this technological method...

Other thongs to be found in the shed, too...

Ceramics used to support telephone wires. I remember them hanging within reach of people walking upon the shed's low rooftop.

also in the picture, pieces of flint. Which were used as blades, arranged in their hundreds on something like a flat wooden sled, that was dragged by donkeys over some cereal plants. Somehow it helped separate grain from straw, etc. I have never observed this method being applied. It was actually even before my time as a child.

Spices, dried and tied with a piece of nylon rope very popular a few of decades ago when the wonder of plastics was widely adopted...and never dropped.

The simple. Wooden. Ladder.

Thanks for coming with me again!

Yours,

Manol
