I think I'm in that same mood. I got access to a well that's about 13 miles from here. I bought a rope and a reel, the bucket with holes at the bottom was already there. It feels pretty cool to be primitive and also, the echoing sounds of drops of water falling back in the well are awesome.

Honestly, sustainability is one of the most important qualities in my mind when it comes to anything I intend to acquire.
