We at the Manna Foundation are fully committed to Steem. This was an arm of our marketing that we felt imperative to pursue. Our belief is that Steem is going to expand as the cryptocurrency market enters the populous.
Being a token provider ourselves, we understand the potential this new mechanism provides. Our goal is to eradicate poverty from around the world. Using a token to accomplish this end means we are taking funding to another level. We simply are looking to fund hundreds of millions of people on a weekly basis.
We only joined recently. Thus far, due to personnel tending to other projects, our availability is rather limited on here. We are hoping to change that.
To show a commitment to this blockchain, we made took a couple actions.
Being a non-profit, we depend a great deal upon the donations of others to meet our expenses. One of the moves we made is we took $500 and purchased Steem on the open market. We are having an issue with moving it from the exchange. Once that is overcome, we will power up those tokens as an investment in this blockchain.
We were recently alerted to the initiative put together by the team. Being a basic income token, this holds great allure to us. We went ahead and tried to purchase a few units for those who did so for us. Being new to the platform, one of our personnel did not realize some of the technical details on here meaning the "@' sign was left off the memo. We are working to correct this.
This is an initiative that we will continue to support as our resources allow.
Over the next few months, our intention is to utilize more of the Steem applications that are available. We are going to add to the marketing mix by putting together videos, live streaming shows, and interviews. Once again, personnel availability is a concern right now since we are working on so many projects. We ask for a bit of patience in this area.
We are still being guided through the nuances of Steemit. Our intention is to be a support those people who support us. The marriage between Steem and Manna looks like it is growing. We are regularly fed links to posts about Manna put together by people on Steem. This is encouraging since we know many "Steemians" are also getting Manna distribution.
One of the things we learned is that one of the central tenets of support on here is upvoting the works of others. The value that is applied is based upon the amount of Steem Power an account has. This was one of the reasons we decided to buy what Steem we could. In addition to being a worthwhile investment that will provide value to the Manna organization, it also improves our standing on here.
We want to do more though. With our resources being tight, we are limited to our buying which we are committed to doing on an on-going basis. It was brought to our attention that some assist projects they believe in by delegating Steem Power.
We view the Steem we acquire as an asset to back the Manna token. Our desire is that people who are receiving Manna will aid our cause by delegating some Steem Power to the account. One member already committed to doing this over the next week.
The upvoting of comments, blogs, and purchasing of SBI units for our followers is the reason for this request. We would like to show our support for those people on Steemit who also help us.
None of us are going to change the world on our own. It is going to take the efforts of all of us moving in the same direction. We feel that our ideals resonate with many on Steem. Our intention is to bring as many together to try and solve some of the problems before us.
Steem is a place we will focus attention upon. We concluded it is a worthwhile cause.
