Last season of 2021! I spent it as usual: doing the bare minimum to qualify for Gold league, renting my collection most of the time and doing Alpha/Beta brawls with Wax Street.

DEC (and SPS) took a huge hit on December. Most of my cards were rented all the time during this season and I apparently managed to get a ROI around 20% APY. I plan to stockpile DEC for a while and don't want to sell it at the moment.

At current price level, staking SPS I get appears risky: the nominal yield is 40% APY but locking for one month will prevent me to benefit from any major price movement (a listing on Binance doing +100% or more is not unrealistic and will pay for keeping SPS liquid).
I keep SPS liquid for that reason and I sold vouchers daily. The threshold to qualify for this first two airdrops was 300 packs for 1 Legendary card and buying more packs with vouchers wasn't looking like a great deal with the general sale coming in a few weeks.
What a year! I'm wishing you all the best for 2022 and can't wait for the next SPL developments. My strategy stays unchanged meanwhile.
