Hello Everyone!
Many of us here might be fond of winters. Right? Specially wearing those oversized hoodies, cute caps, gloves, boots...I guess all the girls here might relate to it. And, on top of that, if we get the chance to play in the snow, it will be like cherry on the cake :-p
So, a few months back, I with my cousins planned to visit Kalinchowk, Kuri Village which is located in Dolakha district of Nepal. Kalinchowk is a hill station located at the altitude of 3,842 m from sea level. This place is a tourist hotspot and is best know for short trekking, hiking and skiing.
Kalinchowk is named after the goddess Kali, and it is believed that goddess Kali used to meditate on the top hills of Kalinchowk. Now, there is a Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple on the top-hills.
We planned our trip according to the weather forecast; there was 90% chance of snowfall. So, we all were very excited for the snowfall, but unfortunately the weather prediction was not in our favour. Still, we all really loved the place.
Here are a few photos clicked by me with iphone 11.
To visit this temple, we need to take a cable car ride or we can trek for about 2 hours. If we take the cable car, then after that we need to trek for about an hour to reach the top hills to the temple.
All these images are taken from the point between the cable car and the walking duration to reach the top most hill.
In my next post, I will be sharing the photos from the top hill temple.
Hope you all like it.
Thank you:)
