As per your request, here are some ways that I think the platform could be improved.
- Streaming from mobile.
Forgive me if this already is functioning, but according to some people I have been talking with in the last few days, it seems it is not. One workaround I saw is creating a hotspot via mobile phone, then streaming to laptop in a backpack, then to DLIVE.. but of course being able to stream directly from an android device would be a dream for me personally, as that is my main and most comfortable medium to film on...
If we could mobile stream then the sky is the limit!
2 Lagging issues.
I don't really even understand how all this is possible on a blockchain - but if there is any way you all can further tweak the very fabric of the universe to make the lag decrease on the stream and comments - that would be crazy.
3 Your Room should show how many are currently watching, not how many comments there are.
Or maybe it should say 'Comments' and 'People watching', because I only just figured this out :P
4 It would be AWESOME if you could see what users are currently in your room.
All the logged in users, if you could see their screen names, this would be incredible.
5 The top banner should show current live streams.
I think it would be great if the banner at the top of the page showed current live streams, instead of past videos, this would help engage people.
6 Streams are separated into categories automatically.
Maybe another addition would be if all gaming streams were together, all music streams were together, etc.
7 An official tutorial.
When you enter into Go Live or FAQ, it would be great to see an official, easy to understand tutorial showing how to set up OBS.. Its really not difficult, but for many people this is very overwhelming - I was intimidated by this at first for sure.
8 Thumbnails show Stream on mouseover.
This one is just crazy, but if the thumbnail could become a portal into the livestream footage when you roll the mouse over it... I know, I know- dont listen to that one...
I think that is the whole list from me - I hope this is of a help to you and I hope to see some of these changes and many other great tweaks come into effect.
Thanks DLIVE!!!
