In this weekend report, from London on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 I look at the technical picture for the stock market and I also do a review of my top five books related to markets, money and economics.
The technical picture is pointing to a potential top in the stock market. I look into the weekly charts and a Spinning Top Candlestick formation for the major U.S. indices. This formation is viewed as neutral by many but can also be viewed as pointing to a potential turning point in a market.
The books I review are the following: "Fiat Money Inflation in France" by Andrew D. White, "The Mandibles" by Lionel Shriver, "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat, "What Has Government Done to Our Money" by Murray Rothbard and "The Tower of Basel" by Adam Lebor.
To me, these books have been my favourites in trying to understand the world of money, economics, the markets and government.
