Putin Says American "Middle Class Has Hardly Benefited from Globalisation".

In this report, from London on Friday, June 28th, 2019 I go over a must-read interview President Putin and FT editor Lionel Barber from the Kremlin in Moscow.

One of the most important points, in my opinion, that President Putin makes is that the Populist movements in the U.S. and Western Europe have got nothing to do with Russian meddling but with the fact that for the last quarter century globalisation has been a boon to the Elites but has almost totally bypassed the Middle Class.

The other interesting argument the Russian President makes is that Russia, unlike the U.S., has not interfered in Venezuela but is just carrying on business as usual.

My conclusion from the FT interview is that President Putin is very much aware of what is going on politically, economically and geopolitically and that he does not mince words and sifts through the Western Mainstream Media propaganda.
