In this report I look at the reaction from mainstream commentators in reference to the Trump/Putin summit held in Helsinki, Finland on Monday, July 16th, 2018. I note that the mainstream press, commentators and President Trump's political opponents have been accusing him of treachery but that we need to look deeper into the U.S. intelligence community and the nature of this institution.
I look at a couple of very interesting books in which the authors point to the "heart of darkness" of the U.S. intelligence community and also how this community operates above the law of the land or the U.S. Constitution. My conclusion is that President Trump has a battle on his hands and that the last President who tried to fight the C.I.A. and its apparatus of power, JFK, ended up being eliminated by assassination.
L. Fletcher Prouty's "The Secret Team" looks how the C.I.A. and the intelligence community also resort to false flag events like the U-2 incident in 1960 in order to stop moves towards peace and cooperation between countries like the United States and Russia.
In the end of the day I recommend that people do their homework and research while being very sceptical of the establishment commentators or even myself.
