My son is 7 years old and attends first grade in a local primary school this year.
Because of work, my husband has been away for business for two whole months recently. Finally he managed to find time to get back home yesterday in the afternoon and stayed with us for just one day and then left for business again. During his short stay at home, there were lots of fun and hapiness, we drived to a park nearby and went for a walk after dinner.
Before we went for walk, my son had to finish doing his homework at home. During this period, my husband and I went downstairs to put the garbage to trash can and then my husband went to wash our car. My son talked to me when we leave," Mom, please make sure bring Daddy back home". I knew why he said so, he missed his father too much and wanted to stay with him for more time, he was quite worried as he thought he could not see his father again later (so many times my husband went back home for a short break and left in a rush.)
I went upstairs to pick up my son while my husband went to the car wash. My son opened the door for me and looked around,"Where is my Daddy?"tears are in my son's eyes and he said with a cry. I told him that Daddy went to the car wash, then he calmed down and felt relieved.
30 minutes later, my son has done his homework and my husband also finished washing the car. We departed to the park nearby. We watched the fountain and son got the ferris wheel there. "This is the happiest day for me!", my son said with happy smile.
How I wish the time could stop for that moment ,a get-together is always a short time! However, this is life, we need to work for a bright future for ourselves, and this is Daddy working hard for. My dear son,No pay, No gain, let's live optimistically.
