In the middle of a sleepy small town called Hvalsø, in the northern part of island of Sjælland in Denmark, there is a surprisingly beautiful lake with a bird rich island in its middle.
At thIs time of year, the leafs are going brown and yellow and the colourful spectacle can be enjoyed walking along a parhway that winds around the lake most of the way
There is a small pier with a bench where you can enhoy the view to the island in the middle, and the ducks will come by expecting you to feed them som bread crumbs
There is a peculiar sculpture in the lake, with three matching stones on the shore. I do not know if they are some sort of solar clock
