I bless the whole community. My best wishes to those who with love strive to expand the truth of the kingdom of God on earth.

We know from the Word that God does not tempt and can not be tempted. He who is tempted, tempted is by his own concupiscence.

Jesus, being the verb made flesh, although he was tempted in everything, never sinned. It is our great example and way of life to follow.

So, who is the tempter?

The tests with the evil and the traps whose purpose is to harm us, are things that do not come from God, but from his enemy and ours: the devil. This is what the Word of God tells us referring to who is behind the temptation:

Matthew 4: 1
"Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil."

Matthew 4: 3
"The tempter came to him and said:" If you are the Son of God, say that these stones become bread. "

Mark 1:13
"And [Jesus] was there in the desert for forty days, I was tempted by Satan."

Luke 4: 2
"For forty days, and was tempted by the devil, he ate nothing in those days, after which he was hungry."

Luke 4:13
"When the devil ended all temptation, he departed from him [Jesus] for a time."

1 Corinthians 7: 5
"Do not deny each other, except for a time of mutual consent, to commit yourself peacefully in prayer, then gather again, so Satan will not tempt you because of your incontinence."

1 Thessalonians 3: 5
"That's why I too, unable to bear it anymore, sent to inform me of your faith, because I was afraid that the tempter would have tempted you and that our work would have been in vain."

Revelation 2:10
"Do not fear what you have to suffer, the devil will send some of you to prison to be judged, and he will have a tribulation for ten days, he will be faithful until death and will give him the crown of life."

In all the mentioned Biblical quotations, the true face of the tempter is one, Satan.

The Lord Jesus said to his disciples: "Watch and pray so that you do not enter into temptation".

These same words are for us today.
