Blessings for the entire community.
In the apostle Paul's letter to the church in Ephesians 6:10, he writes:
For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of your strength.
In this passage, Paul assures us that the Holy Spirit will pour strength into our human spirit, while we have fellowship with him.
In Ephesians 3:16, Paul prays to the Lord for us, to give you, according to the riches of his glory, that the Spirit may strengthen you with power in the inner man.
In Isaiah 40:31, the prophet tells us that ... those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength; they will return with wings like eagles; they will run, and they will not get tired, they will walk, and they will not get tired.
It is obvious that, according to these passages and similar ones, we strengthen ourselves when we seek God to obtain what we lack.
In my life, there were many people who told me that I would never become anything, so I was determined not to give up on their negative prophecies. God has given each of us a potential and if we trust in Him, and work hard, and do not refuse to surrender, He will help us reach the goal.
Most things that are worthwhile are not easy to do, we are not filled with the Spirit to do easy things. It fills us with His Spirit to do impossible things!
If you want to develop your potential and become everything you can be, keep your eyes on the prize and continue! It will not be easy, but it will be worth it.
I can not express how happy I am that I did not give up on the road. It would have been easy to make excuses and give up, but I would be sitting in a totally empty and unhappy place, probably wondering why life had treated me so badly.
Most of those who blamed their failures on other people or circumstances had potential, but they knew how to develop it or perhaps they were not willing to fulfill their requirements.
When things do not come out in our lives, God is not to blame. He has a great plan for each one of us. Circumstances are not to blame, because they can be overcome with faith and determination. The other people are not to blame because Romans 8:31 says: If God is for us, who is against us?
Although people can attack us, and Satan uses them to warn us and torture us, they can not prevail. If God is on our side, it simply does not matter who is against, because they are not more powerful than him.
The truth is that when things do not happen, and we feel that we are observing life from afar, while others have all the success, it is because we have not obeyed God, we have not persevered and we have not been willing to take gigantic steps of faith . We have not been willing to be "dumb", to be judged and criticized, to be mocked and rejected, to be identified as radicals who need to be reassured and who must follow the current.
The world wants to conform us, but the Lord wants to transform us, if we do things his own way. He will take us and make us into something much better than we dream, if we refuse to give up and keep running the race that lies ahead.
