The Word of God says in James 1: 2-4:

My brothers, consider it a great joy when you meet in various trials, knowing that the test of your faith produces patience. But be patient with your complete work, so that it can be perfect and complete, without losing anything.

This passage tells us that when patience has done its perfect work, we too will be perfect (fully developed) and complete, without losing anything. He also talks about tests of all kinds and tells us that during the time of the test we must have patience.
"Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to maintain a good attitude while we wait."

Patience is the fruit of the Spirit that manifests itself in a calm and positive attitude. Impatience is full of negative emotions, and it is one of the tools that Satan uses to keep us from achieving fulfillment and integrity.

Hebrews 10:36 tells us that we must have patience to do God's will.

According to Psalm 31:15, it says: "My times are in your hands." God knows exactly when it is right for everything, and our impatience will not rush it.
