Habakkuk decided to hold on to God fervently no matter what happened to him or his nation (Habakkuk 3: 17-19)

The Lord called many times the nation of Judah did not obey the Lord, and continued in their sinful conduct. The prophet Habakkuk recognized that God rules over all the earth and uses whomever he chooses for his purposes. Habakkuk, did not fully understand God's plan but recognized that the righteous in any generation must live by faith, (Habakkuk 2: 4) Behold, he whose soul is not upright takes pride, but the just will live by faith.
For this reason Habakkuk decided to leave the situation of his nation in the hands of God and praised wisdom even without understanding its mysterious ways.
Many would like to understand the way of acting of our Lord, but God does not demand that we understand his will, but that we obey it even if it seems unreasonable or we do not agree with him.
We must trust God, even when we do not understand his will.
